Here we go...

Today is the day! It's been a long but fun summer and the day has finally arrived. At 8:00 PM Mountain Time, my family and I fly out to London to drop me off at the University of Roehampton! Finally! I'd honestly be lying if I said I wasn't just a tad bit anxious but I'm sure that'll fade away in a day or two. I'm actually packing lighter than I would if I went to Hawaii this semester, bringing only two suitcases and my backpack. Speaking of, I need to finish packing as we're driving to the airport in, like, an hour. Over the past week, I 've been cleaning the house, packing my bags, running last-minute errands and trying to get one of my classes changed, as it doesn't have an equivalent at Shidler. Mostly a bunch of busy work to get everything in order at home before I go abroad.

While this process has been difficult, I am genuinely excited about the semester that lies ahead of me and the journey I am about to embark on. My next post will be from London and will definitely have more content about stuff I've been doing as this coming week is orientation week!
